Tabletop games
In 2023, Tommy and his collaborator, Terry Pettigrew-Rolapp, released Mother of Frankenstein, an innovative 15-hour narrative tabletop game based on the life of Mary Shelley, author of Frankenstein. It features nearly 15,000 words of text, a full 2D and 3D jigsaw puzzle (of the grounds around Castle Frankenstein and the castle itself, respectively), and numerous diegetic puzzles designed to match the narrative and thematic beats of the story. You can purchase it at many games stores (or Barnes & Noble), but we prefer you just get it from us here.
Here's a brief article I wrote about the project for LitHub
In MoF, you'll solve puzzles, engage with an elaborate original story, construct 2D and 3D jigsaw puzzles, and learn a lot about Mary Shelley.
Our Kickstarter campaign raised nearly $250,000 and was lauded by such luminaries as Margaret Atwood and Craig Mazin.
